Select Autonomy iManage Document Folder

The process of selecting Document Folders differs according to whether the client is integrated or not

Integrated client: With integrated clients, only Digita Practice Management can select a Document Folder for the client. The Document Folder ID field will be read-only in Accounts Production Advanced from Digita.

Non-integrated clients: The DMS field is active and the folder can be created and managed from within Accounts Production Advanced from Digita.

Once Autonomy iManage has been set up as your document management system, select a Document Folder in Accounts Production Advanced from Digita, as follows:

  1. Open a non-integrated client.
  2. Select the General link on the Summary tab.
  3. Click the ellipsis (...) button to open the Select Autonomy iManage Client Folder dialog.
  4. Select an existing Document Folder from the list, alternatively click Browse to allow selection of any folder within the Autonomy iManage document management system
  5. The dialog will show those document folders where the Custom1 value matches the Digita application client code for the open client.

    If required, Custom2 can be used instead of Custom1. This can be changed via the Autonomy iManage Configuration dialog.

  6. Click OK. The selected Document Folder ID is applied to your Accounts Production Advanced from Digita client.
